The Documentation Centre consists of a library service, newspaper archive and mediateque as well as a wide information and consultation service all housed in the same building.

It also has an email address for all queries. vidre@sct.ictnet.es

All artists and professionals interested in glass and its applications have free access to consult and read all material which the Centre puts at their disposal. The Documentation Centre is free for all professionals, artists and students interested in consulting the documentary archives dedicated to the arts of glass.

Loans Service

 
 

The Documentation Centre offers a loans service for short course students and annual course students. These students can borrow books, magazines, videos etc.. The other users of the Documentation Centre can consult all the material they need on site.

If you have any query related to the world of glass, the Documentation Centre of the Glass Centre of Barcelona Foundation, will try to give you an answer.
The selective Information Service and specialised documentary archive exist for those who need answers to all questions related to glass and its arts. If you do not receive an adequate reply, we will try to inform you of other places where you may find a solution.
The Documentation Centre supplies general and local information and made-to-measure information.

Cultural Activites and Promotion of Glass

 
 

The Documentation Centre, through the Glass Centre of Barcelona Foundation, programmes various activites related to glass in order to extend the knowledge and encourage exchanges between cultural agents directly or indirectly related to glass: artists' presentations, conferences, forums, debates and exhibitions, other activities to promote the glass sector and to dinamise cultural exchanges such as glass shows, competitions...

The Documentation Centre can be found in the building of the Glass Centre of Barcelona Foundation (192 Comtes de Bell.lloc street, First floor)

The Centre of Documentation opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm.
